August 2004 the\u00a0Italian diplomatic-consular network has established an outsourced visa service.<\/p>\n<p>The VFS agency (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.vfs-italy.co.in\/\">http:\/\/www.vfs-italy.co.in\/<\/a>) which operates four offices (Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune, and Kochi)\u00a0within our consular jurisdiction, is entrusted with the responsibility of collecting the required documentation in accordance with the visa regulations, and forwarding it to the Consulate General. The authority to evaluate the applications and all decisions pertaining to their outcome\u00a0rests solely with this Consulate General.
