{"id":3993,"date":"2025-09-15T17:20:08","date_gmt":"2025-09-15T11:50:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/consmumbai.esteri.it\/?p=3993"},"modified":"2025-09-15T17:20:08","modified_gmt":"2025-09-15T11:50:08","slug":"mission-of-the-consul-general-walter-ferrara-in-gujarat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/consmumbai.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dal_consolato\/2025\/09\/mission-of-the-consul-general-walter-ferrara-in-gujarat\/","title":{"rendered":"Mission of the Consul General Walter Ferrara in Gujarat"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On August 25<sup>th<\/sup> 2025, Consul General Walter Ferrara concluded his mission in <strong>Ahmedabad<\/strong>, in the state of <strong>Gujarat<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">First, the Consul had a fruitful meeting with <strong>Chief Secretary Shri Pankaj Joshi<\/strong> on bilateral strategic cooperation, following the recent signing of the Italy-India Strategic Action Plan 2025-2029.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Consul General then visited the <strong>National Institute of Design<\/strong>, where he met with the director Dr. Ashok Mondal and discussed possible future events and collaborations between the Institute and leading design institutions in Italy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He also had the pleasure of meeting <strong>Mr. Jeet Adani<\/strong>, from the Adani Group, proposing future partnerships and collaborations with Italy in the context of <strong>IMEC<\/strong> (India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor) as well as with the <strong>Adani Skill Development Centre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Moreover, he visited the <strong>Indigo Art Museum<\/strong>, the world\u2019s first institution dedicated to the color Indigo, a dye obtained from the leaves of the Indigofera plant. The museum celebrates the influence of this pigment on global trade and its value in art and cultural exchanges.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Finally, the Consul General concluded the mission with a visit to the <strong>Lalbhai Dalpatbhai Museum<\/strong>, which exhibits a collection of illustrated and unillustrated manuscripts, bronzes, cloth paintings, and various works of art and artifacts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"On August 25th 2025, Consul General Walter Ferrara concluded his mission in Ahmedabad, in the state of Gujarat.
