{"id":4017,"date":"2025-10-07T17:24:38","date_gmt":"2025-10-07T11:54:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/consmumbai.esteri.it\/?p=4017"},"modified":"2025-10-09T11:34:03","modified_gmt":"2025-10-09T06:04:03","slug":"international-coffee-day-an-event-in-mumbai-dedicated-to-this-precious-beverage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/consmumbai.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dal_consolato\/2025\/10\/international-coffee-day-an-event-in-mumbai-dedicated-to-this-precious-beverage\/","title":{"rendered":"International Coffee Day:  an event in Mumbai dedicated to this precious beverage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>International Coffee Day<\/strong> was celebrated for the first time in Mumbai on the 1st of October.\u00a0 The <strong>Consul General Walter Ferrara<\/strong> welcomed guests at the \u201c<strong>Affogato<\/strong>\u201d caf\u00e9 in Bandra, Mumbai to honour this beverage \u2014 an icon of Italian culture and a symbol of international recognition for Italy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">International Coffee Day, officially launched at Milan Expo 2015 by the International Coffee Organization, brings together millions of enthusiasts and leading companies from the sector every year through initiatives organized worldwide.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The event, held in collaboration with the <strong>Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry<\/strong>, <strong>Lavazza<\/strong>, and <strong>Relations at Work<\/strong>, welcomed representatives from the coffee industry, including roasting, machinery imports and large-scale distribution.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This convivial morning featured enthusiasts and connoisseurs coming together for the classic \u201ccoffee break\u201d.
