{"id":836,"date":"2013-10-05T16:08:13","date_gmt":"2013-10-05T10:38:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/consmumbai.esteri.it\/news\/dal_consolato\/2013\/10\/pune-2\/"},"modified":"2023-08-09T19:42:02","modified_gmt":"2023-08-09T14:12:02","slug":"pune-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/consmumbai.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dal_consolato\/2013\/10\/pune-2\/","title":{"rendered":"3-4 OCTOBER 2013 : INAUGURATION OF THE CARRARO PLANT AND VISIT TO THE ITALIAN COMPANIES AT PUNE DISTRICT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On the 3rd and 4th October\u00a0 2013, the Ambassador for Italy in India Daniele Mancini and\u00a0 the Consul General of Italy for Mumbai, Ugo Ciarlatani, paid a visit to some of the most important productive companies at Pune District, which is 160Km south-east of Mumbai.<\/p>\n<p>The program commenced with a visit to the\u00a0 Maschio Gaspardo Production Company, in the presence of Andrea Maschio \u2013 President.<br \/>Maschio Gaspardo is a worldwide leading company for\u00a0 the production of\u00a0 huge agricultural machinery. At the Pune plant, spread over 25,000sq.m. with 150 employees,\u00a0 20,000 milling machines a year\u00a0 are manufactured for the Indian market.<\/p>\n<p>Thereafter the Ambassador and the Consul General visited Carraro Spa,<br \/>a company worldwide known for the production of components and agricultural machinery.\u00a0 Both were welcomed by Enrico Carraro \u2013 President of the company &#8211;\u00a0 who came from Italy precisely to inaugurate a new production sector and the new Research &#038; Engineering Centre.<\/p>\n<p>To conclude the 3rd October evening, the Ambassador and the Consul General\u00a0 spent some time at Caff\u00e9 Fiat of Pune, with the representatives of more than 50 Italian companies present in that district &#8211;\u00a0 an open and constructive sharing\u00a0 of opinions about the\u00a0 needs and requirements of the companies and the Italian managers residing in this area.<\/p>\n<p>The next day, 4th October, the Ambassador and the Consul General proceeded\u00a0 to the establishment of Piaggio at Baramati. They were welcomed by the President Ravi Chopra, who guided them through the \u201cVespa\u201d production line, Piaggio`s\u00a0 iconic brand which is of great success among the Indian youth, and afterwards also throough that of \u201cApe\u201d another brand of fabulous\u00a0 success in India.<\/p>\n<p>Thereafter, a visit to the establishment and the offices of MeccAlte \u2013 a worldwide leading company in the production of generators and energy alternators.<br \/>Even in this case we are dealing with an Italian company which in few years (production started in 2010) has accomplished very important results which satisfy the Indian and Asiatic market.
