Art and technology in the Activities of the Istituto Superiore per la Conservazione ed il Restauro\u201d has been inaugurated in the presence of Daniele Mancini &#8211; Ambassador for Italy in India. <br \/>Patronized by the Embassy of Italy at New Delhi and the Consulate General of Italy in Mumbai, and organized by the Italian Cultural Institute of New Delhi in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute, Mumbai Section, this initiative\u00a0 forms part of the\u00a0 review promoted by the MEA and by the Ministry of Heritage and Cultural Activities. The exhibition covered several aspects starting from\u00a0 the conservation process, to the restoration of artistic heritage, the implementation of innovative technologies, an activity in which Italy has developed a particular perfection &#8211; something which is in great demand. <br \/>For the Inauguration which took\u00a0 place at the Museum &#8211; Coomaraswamy Hall, there was also the Ambassador Mancini, the Consul General\u00a0 Ugo Ciarlatani, the director of the Mumbai Section\u00a0 of the Italian Cultural Institute Dr. Patrizia Gambarotta, the Lecturer of Italian Language at the University of Mumbai, Dr. Roberto Bertilaccio,\u00a0 Prof. Anupam Sah, director of the Museum and Prof. Vidya Venkatesan, head of the French Department at the same University<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"On the\u00a0 25th September 2013 at 16:00 hrs.at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya,former Prince of Wales Museum in\u00a0 Mumbai, the exhibition \u201cRestoring in Italy.
