On the occasion of the XIVth edition of the Italian Language Week in the World, the Consulate General of Italy in Mumbai is pleased to announce the following cultural events organized at the University of Mumbai by Professor Roberto Bertilaccio, Reader of Italian Language and Culture, and Dr. Vidya Vencatesan, Head of the Department of French along with Dr. Patrizia Gambarotta, Director of the Italian Consulate General Cultural Center, Mumbai:
Saturday 22nd November 2014: Film screening comprising of three films adapted from novels: “Mio fratello è figlio unico”(My brother is an only child), “Dieci inverni” (Ten winters) and “Porte aperte” (Open doors).
Thursday 27th November 2014: Prof. Roberto Bertilaccio delivers a lecture on Aldo Manuzio’s work as a publisher in Venice during the early Renaissance.
Both events will be held in the Jawaharlal Nehru library of the Kalina campus, and are open to students, enthusiasts and just everybody interested in cinema, literature and culture.
