24/09/2013 ATTRACT INDIAN INVESTMENTS TO ITALY: EVENTS IN MUMBAI

On the occasion of the Annual General Meeting, The Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, together with Embassy of Italy in India, Italian Trade Commission Agency – ICE, Chambers Consortium for Internationalization, Invest in Lombardy, Piedmont Foreign Trade Centre, Metropoli, European Business and Technology Centre (EBTC) will organize a series of events dedicated to attracting Indian investments into Italy in Mumbai, Chennai and New Delhi from 23rd to 26th Sept 2013.
The event in Mumbai is being organized in collaboration with ICE – Italian Trade Commission Agency and the EBTC.

On 23rd Sept, the program begins with a welcome and briefing on the program followed by a break-up where individual meetings will take place. Meetings will be held at the HQ of Indian investors.

On 24th Sept, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Mumbai, the day begins with two parallel sessions that take place throughout the day.

Session One will begin with the seminar titled “Why to Invest in Italy” which will have  Ambassador of Italy to India, H.E. Daniele Mancini, IICCI President Mr. Narinder K. Nayar, ICE President Mr. Riccardo Monti presenting followed by presentations by representatives of the various regions attending. This will be followed by a second session focused on the legal and financial aspects of investing in Italy. Project presentations related to investment projects in sectors like climate change by companies / consortiums / parks will be made.

Session Two is titled “Connect to Investors” which will see the participation of EBTC Director Mr. Paul Jensen, representative of the Piedmont region, MISB Bocconi Academic Head and Director Prof. Stefano Caselli and project presentations related to investment projects in sectors like climate change by Italian companies / consortiums / parks. This will close with one-to-one meetings.

The Annual General Meeting begins in the afternoon at 5.15pm with the private session followed by the Council of Management. This will then open out to the public session titled “Europe & Italy: Where Opportunities Lie” focusing on Europe as an innovative market and investment destination and source. IICCI President Narinder K. Neyar, Ambassador of Italy to India, H.E. Daniele Mancini, President Riccardo Monti of ICE, President of SACE SpA Ambassador Giovanni Castellaneta, EBTC Director will all be on the panel.
