In the occasion of the 13th Edition on the World Italian Language Week, the Consulate General of Italy in Mumbai has the pleasure to announce the following cultural events organized by various Italian and Indian institutions in the jurisdiction:
16/10/2013 at 6pm in Goa, Krishnadas Shama, State Central Library, Exhibition Hall. Presentation of the book : “Voyage to India” of Luldovico de Varthema. An event organized by the Italian Cultural Institute – New Delhi.
17-24/10/2013 Mumbai Film Festival. In the occasion of the 15th edition of the prestigious Mumbai Film Festival, two movies by Italian producers will be projected : “La grande bellezza” of Paolo Sorrentino and “Medeas” of Andrea Pallaoro.

18-20/10/2013 at 6pm in Goa, Krishnadas Shama, State Central Library, Lecture Hall. Three days of “Italian Film Festival”. Especially on the 18th at 6pm, “ Federico Fellini, A Retrospective in the occasion of the 20th anniversary of his death”.
19/10/2013 from 6.30pm to 9.30pm at Shakshi Gallery, 6/9 Grands Building, 2nd Floor, Arthur Bunder Road, Colaba, Mumbai. In collaboration with Arte Laguna Prize and Tecnimont, an exhibition of the artists Carlos Cartama, Dina Goldstein and Michaela Rotondi will be held. The exhibition remains open till the 7th of November.
20/10/2013 from 4pm to 9pm at Oberoi Hotel, Mumbai: “Melting Pot” Italy participates at the famous and traditional event organized by The Oberoi Hotel, at which one can taste the best products of Italian cooking. This is happening thanks to the sponsors : “Istituto Marangoni, to Costa Crociera, and the collaboration of “Di Napoli” Pizzeria of Mumbai. All the proceeds will be donated to charitable organizations.
21/10/2013 at 7pm : NCPA Mumbai. “Ilya Rashkovskiy & Giuseppe Andaloro Piano Recital”. Two of the best pianists of their time will perform in a recital that includes pieces of Oleg Eiges, Alexander Scriabin, Maurice Ravel Gyorgy Ligeti, Niccolo` Paganini and Sergei Rachmaninov.

University of Mumbai, Vidyanagary Santacruz East. “A Reading from Dante Alighieri`s Commedia – Inferno, Canto XXVI” by Dr. Roberto Bertilaccio – Lecturer in Italian – Department of French – University of Mumbai.
