They were welcomed by the President Ravi Chopra, who guided them through the “Vespa” production line, Piaggio`s  iconic brand which is of great success among the Indian youth, and afterwards also throough that of “Ape” another brand of fabulous  success in India.

Thereafter, a visit to the establishment and the offices of MeccAlte – a worldwide leading company in the production of generators and energy alternators.
Even in this case we are dealing with an Italian company which in few years (production started in 2010) has accomplished very important results which satisfy the Indian and Asiatic market. The Ambassador and the Consul General were happy to spend time with the employees  and  cut the ribbon for 40,000 alternators manufactured in less than 4 years.

Even this mission, like all the others recently accomplished, shows the will power of the Italian Institutions being in the vicinity to the Italian productive system, which predicts the biggest concentration of Italian Companies and Italian investments at Pune.
