The Consulate General of Italy in Mumbai has the pleasure to inform that two Indian personalities received from the President of the Italian Republic the honor of the Knight of the Order of the Star of Italy.
The prestigious awards went to:
– Dr. Vidya Vencatesan, Head of the Department of French at Mumbai University, for the work and commitment in assisting the Italian Lecturer Prof. Roberto Bertilaccio in its task of promoting the teaching of Italian language and culture till achieving its inclusion in the curriculum of the French Degree Course.
– Mr Anupam Sah, Head of art conservation, research and training at the CSMVS Museum Art Conservation Centre, Mumbai, for his pioneering work in the field of restoration.
The Consulate General of Italy in Mumbai expresses to both the recipients its congratulations and its gratitude for the valuable work done in their respective field of languages and restoration at the service of diffusion and knowledge of Italian culture.
The two awards were presented by the Italian Consul General in Mumbai, Ugo Ciarlatani, during a ceremony held on 11/11/2016.
