The Declaration of Value (DOV) is an informative document requested by an Italian Higher Education Institution for granting admission to Italian Universities. It is issued by the territorial competent Italian Diplomatic Missions abroad, according to the State where the degree/school certificate has been issued, and it describes the educational qualification pursued and the duration of study carried out by the foreign person in his/her Country of origin.
The submission modalities are as follows:
A) It is mandatory for the students to submit in person their DOV request at VFS:
Prior to visa application (application for Bachelor and Master Degree)
OR
Together with visa application (ONLY if the place where the degree/school certificate has been issued and the place where the student resides falls under the same Consular Jurisdiction)*
